Our stay was magical. The house is located on a beautiful small island with gorgeous walking. House very comfortable for a group of 10, with family friendly sitting areas and dining. Best of all - Oscar was outstanding in supporting us throughout our stay. Riding over on the rib boat was a highlight and unique experience. Oscar was incredible attentive - world class service! Thank you for helping make this a trip we all will remember!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely house on the west coast of Donegal. The views were absolutely breathtaking – truly a place to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It struck the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and convenient access to local charm – remote enough to feel like a real getaway, but still just a short trip to the nearest pub for a warm atmosphere and a good pint. A special mention to Oscar, the boat taxi – an absolute gem! Friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat, he really added to the experience.

We had such a great time on Inishcoo. There were 4 families holidaying together and we loved every minute of it. The house is so well stocked, they really have thought of everything. We had an amazing yoga retreat on this private island, our guests were delighted with the homely nature of the house. The boat ride on and off the island is fun, Oscar the caretaker is helpful, friendly and on hand for anything we needed. The accomodation is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the location is completely remote. So long as you arrive prepared with everything you need for the weekend, you’ll have the best time!

Wonderful location and house was amazing. Lots of room and filled with everything we could possibly need. From kitchen equipment to games and toys for younger ones and fascinating library for young and old. Well stocked with wellies for rainy days too. Oscar was so welcoming and helpful too and we all enjoyed the boat trip with him.

A magical weekend on Inishcoo for a large group of friends. The house is bigger than it looks in the photos so we had plenty of room for everyone. Oscar was always on hand (with a smile) to boat us back to the mainland when we needed. Spent one day exploring the island and swimming in a sheltered cove. Hope to return some day!

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, Inishcoo is IT. The island is a place of stunning and tranquil natural beauty. Wonderful walks, and 'Near Beach' became our unofficial outdoor headquarters: swimming, tide pools, kite flying, football.... We spent hours there whenever the weather cooperated, which was for most of our stay! The house held all of us, and we were a big group; the spacious living area was great for games, puzzles, conversation, and an epic singalong. Communication with Caroline before our visit was excellent, and on site, Oscar answered our questions with patience and good humor, helping us with all of our (many!) needs. It is such a special place, and we hope to return one day.

Cannot fault Inishcoo at all. It was one of the best trips away we’ve had in a long time. From the second we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. The boat journey over took about 5 minutes and Oscar who took us out on the boat was great. He was so friendly and nothing was a problem for him. The house was immaculate and there was plenty for the kids to do too (not one iPad was looked for) I cannot wait to stay again!

We had an amazing time on Inishcoo, wandering the island, swimming, kayaking playing games. The house is perfect and exactly what we had expected, if not more. Heating was on when we arrived, which was nice. There is also a lovely fire in the main room. Beds were perfect, rooms spotless. I would highly recommend for a group of friends or family who want to get away from everything for a few days.

Myself and a group of friends stayed on Inishcoo for new years. We had a great time. Caroline was very helpful and quick to answer any of our questions. Oscar was brilliant and great fun. He gave us loads of great tips when dropping us off to the island. The house is lovely and has a well stocked kitchen. Overall we had an excellent stay.

“ We had an ideal getaway on Inishcoo. We had a very large group and there was a bed for everyone and loads of space. Oscar dropped us over on his boat and was very accommodating and friendly, giving us tips on what to do on the area and showed us around the house. There were sea kayaks that we were able to use and visit the nearby beaches, some of which were the nicest I've ever been on. I would highly recommend Inishcoo and look forward to visiting again in the future.”

“ What an amazing place! Stayed for a week and still had plenty of exploring left to do! Our only regret when leaving was that we did not spend enough time on the island. Inishcoo Island was worthy of a week itself. It was so much fun to walk the beautiful beaches, search out the grazing cattle and explore the island. Also had great fun catching lobster and shrimp for dinner in the shrimp pots at the house! Oscar was great. He was so patient and accommodating with our group of 11. Can’t recommend Inishcoo House highly enough!”
